Murali Kartik Selected for Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2013


Left-arm Indian spinner Murali Kartik Selected for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 2013 Indian Premier League (IPL) sixth edition after he is released from Pune Warriors team on Friday.

Kartik has former played for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) before being selected by Pune Warriors during the fourth edition of the 2013 Indian Premier League (IPL).

He has been facing with consistency problem for this temperamental spinner, who has played his part in few critical matches while letting the squads that he has played for down in a more other cricket matches.

In his carrier economy rate is close to seven and has taken 93 wickets in 127 twentyT20 cricket matches. He has played entire carrier eight Test matches and 37 International ODIs for India

According to IPL sources, Murali was sold to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at his previous base price of USD 400,000.
