At meeting in Chennai Indian Premier League (IPL) Governing Council confirmed that the first phase of the Pepsi IPL 2014 season matches will be played in the United Arab Emirates, from Apr 16,2014 to Apr 30,2014
In this IPL 7 first phase schedule a total 20 Cricket matches will be played in three stadiums: the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi; the Sharjah Cricket Association Stadium, Sharjah; and the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai
The opening IPL 2014 Cricket match on on Wednesday, 16 April, will be in Abu Dhabi, between the defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) and the 2012 IPL champions, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
After these first phases of IPL 2014 20 matches many state Governments have indicated the IPL 2014 matches can be conducted in their states.
Based on many states responses, BCCI plans that the Pepsi IPL 2014 matches can be conducted in India from the first week of May, 2014.
